In recognition of how the arts and education enhance lives and communities, the Thoma Foundation makes art collection-related grants and lends and exhibits our collection. We focus our education funding on the rural Southwest, primarily offering scholarships to students in the greater Texas panhandle. Through these giving programs, we strive to foster leadership, innovation, and equal opportunity in the arts.
The Carl & Marilynn Thoma Foundation collection includes over 1,700 works of art in four broad fields. The collection continues to grow, and work from the collection is displayed at our exhibition spaces in Santa Fe and Dallas and lent to exhibition venues around the world.
